See Yim is very dedicated in her chosen field of counseling, couple and family therapy work since 2001. She began her career with as a social worker with Tampines Family Service Centre and soon was heading the Youth Guidance Programs and School Social Work for about eight years. She provided supervision of NUS, placement students, and junior staff in the centre. Her passion is not limited by contact with subjects and their families but also carry out her work via workshops and seminars. In 2008, See Yim  made a giant leap to be with The Ang Mo Kio Family Service to be its Deputy Head taking more responsibilities in not only attending to counseling and therapy work but also in the area of clinical supervision and training of agency volunteers, junior and senior professional social workers and counselors in her agency. In addition, she has extended her supervision of NUS, UniSim, Edith Cowen University, Monash and Nanyang Polytechnic placement interns  for Degree and Master in Social Work and Counselling programmes. All these vast array of job responsibilities and roles have certainly honed See Yim’s  interpersonal skills, facilitation and training skills. See Yim on top of her busy schedule has been constantly developing other professional skills especially in fields of Psychotherapy and Hypnotherapy for the last three years. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, Malay and Cantonese

Right now, See Yim has embarked on an added dimension to her passion of helping others. She is making time outside her work hours to render her expertise to others who prefers to consult her privately especially in the fields of inter-personal relationships, traumas, family violence, marital counseling, family therapy, mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, panic attack etc and most recently rendering Hypnotherapeutic  assistance to people who are deeply stressed, challenged emotionally and physically inhabited by undesirable lifestyles.
