TEE TENG LOO
Teng Loo is a trained hypnotherapist who is passionate about helping people discover their own uniqueness and getting in touch with their inner being. Her strong interest in the realm of a spirituality combined with an intuitive insight in metaphysics has allowed her to guide lots of people find their own ability and to move forward in life. Her work centers around empowering clients by guiding them towards the experience of total relaxation to reduce anxiety and fear, improve motivation, confidence and self esteem and their life purpose. The state of relaxation, she believes, will help one unleash all the resources and unique talents that is embedded within oneself.
Prior to her work in hypnotherapy, she has accumulated work experiences in various fields spanning from designing to marketing, customer service to retailing and project management. Graduating from the University of Coventry with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Information Technology, she began her career in the IT world where work involves in problem solving, communication and finding solutions.
Her formal training in hypnotherapy from the London College of Hypnosis earned her a Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis. She is also a certified practitioner in EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), an alternative form of psychotherapy which can ease traumatic experience and memories by tapping the body’s acupuncture points. An affiliate member of British Society of Clinical Hypnosis (BSCH), she has also received training in Symptom Interpretation, Past Life Regression Therapy, Obesity and Weight Control Therapy, Assertiveness Therapy and Goal Setting.
Teng Loo has always played an active role outside the pursuit of academia. She was a Publicity Coordinator for the AIDS Awareness Campaign and a member of the Malaysia Red Crescent Society, where she received training in First Aid and CPR. In her leisure time, Teng Loo will get close to nature and enjoy the outdoors. Her love of nature and the environment had taken her to the Summit of Mount Kinabalu via the Mersilau Summit Trail and a 25-day venture at The Outward Bound School.
